Advanced Intelligent Multi-Energy Systems (AIMES) Symposium

Thursday 13th June @ 10:00 am - Friday 14th June @ 4:00 pm

£30

From the Sunday news, to the discussions in industry, electrical energy has never had a higher profile among engineers and the general public alike. The aim of the AIMES symposium series is to keep industrial professionals and stakeholders up to date with the latest developments. This symposium tackles two important and current areas: energy storage and the application of new technologies to future smartgrids (specifically big data/data analytics and robotics).

The Advanced Intelligent Multi-Energy Systems (AIMES) symposium founded by Prof. John Counsell, University Chester, will this year hold its summer meeting at The University of Manchester.

It will address two timely topics: energy storage in the electrical network, and the introduction of technology to make the grid smarter. The aim of this AIMES workshop is to present the views from both industry and the R&D communities.

Day 1 – Energy Storage • Electrical and thermal storage • Energy storage systems and renewables • Energy storage systems and buildings

Day 2 – The Smarter Grid • Sensors • Robotics • Modelling and Artificial Intelligence

Price: £30 per person for both days
