Hybrid and Integrated Energy Storage
Monday 18th December @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pmFree
Academics from Warwick, Nottingham and Loughborough universities, as well as the British Geological Survey, invite you to join them for a Seminar and Discussion Panel on “Hybrid and Integrated Energy Storage – mainstays of a carbon-free energy system”.
The purpose of event is to bring people together to explore combinations/integrations of energy storage with generation and consumption. Energy Storage (ES) is seen as one of the key sources to provide flexibility in the electricity system and this area became a hot topic recently. ES is also considered as the main solution for secure power system operation with integrated intermittent ‘green power sources’, like wind and solar. The organisers are hoping for serious discussions aiming to affect UK government policy, kickstart demonstration projects and and galvanise technology developers.
The event is free to attend but attendance is by ticket only. Please contact Dr. Jacek Wojcik as soon as possible to apply for tickets, as places are limited.
