The role of storage in future energy systems: insights and challenges

Tuesday 13th November @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Free

Three major EPSRC research projects (C-MADEnS, MY-STORE and RESTLESS) are organising a one-day event exploring the future role of energy storage in the UK energy system.  It will take place on Tuesday 13 November 2018 at Church House, Westminster Abbey, London.

They will be discussing various aspects of energy storage in the UK, building on insights from their research and identifying future challenges.  Following a brief overview of the key findings of the three projects, a series of sessions will take the form of directed discussions, to encourage a good debate across the key issues.  They want everyone attending to contribute.  Topics will include public attitudes to energy storage, systems engineering integration, and economics and business models.  The day will conclude with a discussion of policy and future challenges.

The event is free of charge to attend.  Places are limited so please sign up straight away if you would like to attend, at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-role-of-storage-in-future-energy-systems-insights-and-challenges-tickets-50482690085.
