A series of workshops is being planned by The Faraday Institution, the UK’s independent research institute for electrochemical energy storage research. The workshops are aimed to identify UK priorities for research and infrastructure capability.
The Faraday Institution is currently delivering world-class research in support of the UK government’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF). It is the research vehicle for the ISCF Faraday Battery Challenge, which comprises a £246m commitment over the next four years to develop, design and manufacturer world-leading batteries in the UK.
We are seeking a wide range of views on the priorities for the second wave of research projects and will be holding a series of Joint Industry / Academia workshops to identify UK priorities for Research and infrastructure capability.
