Engineering Technician (Maintenance)

Do you have experience of maintaining and servicing equipment in a high value serial manufacturing environment with stringent quality demands? Can you work under pressure and react quickly to resolve equipment problems to ensure production and quality demands are fulfilled?

WMG at the University of Warwick are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance support for the Energy Innovation Centre (EIC). The EIC includes a £13 million Battery Scale-Up Facility for the development of new battery chemistries from concept through to fully proven traction batteries, in sufficient quantities for industrial scale testing.

The role requires relevant experience in a related engineering discipline as you will be responsible for providing support to both internal and external delegates. As a result, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high level of awareness for health and safety. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles would be a bonus.
