UCL Chemical Engineering is a world-leading centre for research in electrochemical technology, looking for a post-doctoral researcher to develop novel membrane technologies and apply diagnostic and materials characterisation techniques to understand their modes of operation. The appointment is available for up to 2 years in the first instance.
The key role of the post holder will be to perform leading research to investigate the physical and electrochemical properties of membrane materials for applications in electrochemical technology: this will include the development and application of advanced 3D X-ray imaging techniques. The position will be based in the Electrochemical Innovation Lab in the Department of Chemical Engineering on the Bloomsbury campus of UCL and involve close collaboration with EPSRC funded project partners at the University of Manchester and University of Newcastle.
