Do you have experience of working in a chemistry laboratory or in the converting industry? Do you have experience in developing quality control processes, ideally in a materials or battery cell manufacturing environment?
WMG, a vibrant, cutting-edge research institution at the University of Warwick, are seeking to appoint a Process Technician to provide technical support for the Energy Innovation Centre (EIC). The EIC includes a £13 million Battery Materials Scale-Up Pilot Line the development of new battery chemistries from concept through to fully proven traction batteries, in sufficient quantities for industrial scale testing.
The role requires relevant experience in a related engineering discipline as you will be responsible for providing support to both internal and external delegates. As a result, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high level of awareness for health and safety. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles would be an advantage.
