Research Associate in Battery Pack Modelling

The Electrochemical Science and Engineering group at Imperial College London is looking to employ a battery pack modeller to work within a large consortium. The Electrochemical Science and Engineering group is a multi-disciplinary research group spanning across the Dyson School of Design EngineeringMechanical Engineering and Earth Science and Engineering. The group consists of 9 academic staff, 10 post-doctoral research associates and >20 PhD students.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Developing physics based models of lithium-ion batteries and battery packs.
  • Experimentally parameterising and validating the models.
  • Interpreting experimental data.
